GSO OIML R61-2:2021 Scope
R 61-2 is applicable to the type evaluation and initial verification testing of automatic gravimetric filling
instruments (hereafter referred to as “AGFIs”), as defined in 3.2.2 in R 61-1.
R 61-2 sets out details of the test program, principles, equipment and procedures to be used for type evaluation
and initial verification testing. Certificates of conformity can be issued for automatic gravimetric filling
instruments under the scope of the OIML Certification System (OIML-CS), provided that R 61-1, R 61-2 and
R 61-3 are used in accordance with the rules of the System.
R 61-2 also applies to ancillary devices, if required by national regulations.
